Maker
Hi, I’m Stephanie, the founder of The Making Room! I’m a mother of three girls and have always believed that creativity plays an important role in how we learn, explore, and connect with the world around us.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Art History and have worked in a variety of educational settings, where I’ve seen firsthand how powerful hands-on creativity can be. My love for art extends beyond traditional forms — I enjoy all kinds of making, from painting and printmaking to crafts and building projects.
As a parent and educator, I’ve seen how naturally creative people are when they’re given the space to explore. Too often, art becomes about following instructions or creating a perfect result.
The Making Room was created to be a place where curiosity leads the way — where makers can experiment with materials, follow their ideas, and discover the joy of creating.
